We arrived at Boomerz, very excited to see Socialburn, and our friends from Soulfound. We also heard that Still Naive was pretty good, so I knew this was going to be an exciting show! There were alot of people there to begin with, I was very suprised, because I didn't know that Socialburn had that big of a fan base. We found a table, which is unheard of at boomerz, especially with a big name headliner, but, we ordered some drinks, sat back, and relaxed.

Finding Aquila was first, but, they didn't really get the crowd revved up very much. They were kinda slow, and they did some acoustic and lets just say that the crowd wasn't really feelin' it. Next up was our buds Soulfound. They got the crowd all revved up, and for some reason, when an opening band mentions the name of the headliner, it gets EVERYONE pumped! South FM were next up, very nice guys, Paco is the frontman, and he had a hell of a voice! Then it was Still Naive, and everything good that I heard about them, they sure as hell lived up to it!

Now was the time for Socialburn. I hurried up to the stage right in the front row and when they ran on stage, everyone screamed and yelled. They started out with Break Back from their 2003 album Where You Are which really got everyone pumped! They sang a few songs off some other albums I didn't really know the words to, but, Neil, the frontman had an awesome voice and everyone was feeling his energy. Another big hit was Down, their first single that made them who they are, EVERYONE knew the words to that song!

It just so happened to be Neil's birthday, so inbetween songs, all the bandmates took shots of Jager on stage, and Neil hates Jager! But It was great! He was buzzed, but he still put on an amazing show! After they were done, I left, but my friend who came along with me stayed later to chat with a friend, then Neil and all the bandmates came outside and she got to have a picture with him. I was disappointed that I left, but I was very lucky to have made it to that show. It was really worth it.
