When I first put this album in I was a little apprehensive. During the beginning of the title track “Time to Burn”, I thought this was just going to be yet another party rock album. Boy was I wrong! The entire album is an awesome throwback to great metal and rock of the glorious 1980’s. Between songs like “Fight ‘Em with Your Rock” and “So Loud”, not only was I was impressed with the great musicianship of the entire band, but the pure unadulterated shredding between Chris Babbit and Mickey Cross. What definitely threw me was the AMAZING cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain”. Not only is it one of the best put together covers I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing, but they also tastefully make it metal. With the soaring vocals and ripping guitar over heavy drums I loved this entire album. I suggest if you are a fan of great 80’s metal definitely pick up this album.
