Sahara Hotnights' third album "Kiss & Tell" can be summed up very easily, Pop radio rock as close to the bottom of the barrel as it comes. What we have here is an all female band with minimal knowledge of the instruments that they attempt to play. It is obvious that RCA records are looking to sell off of the "all chick band" image. With even more simple cheesy power chords then Blink 182 could produce placed over sloppy simple bass lines, then add a drummer that makes Lars Ulrich on "St. Anger" look genius, and a whining singer with no vocal range and you have Sahara Hotnights. This will be a band featured on MTV and the only people that will run out and buy this album are groups of prepubescent boys who think the girls are hot, therefore must be good. Plus MTV is playing them, and they would never shove shitty music down the throats of an easily impressionable audience.....would they??
