Loser is a new band featuring John 5 of Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie fame. One may think this record entitled “Just Like You” will be heavy and loud where as it is really a great Rock record. There are some traces here and there of those two bands but mainly more modern rock sounds then anything else.

The album kicks off with “The First Time” and doesn’t really slow down until “5 a.m.” which is nothing more than your average rock song. “Nobody Knows” is probably going to blow this band through the roof; it is one of the best ballads of the New Year and of the past few years as well.

The album doesn’t really let up much after that. Loser continues to rock out and bring some very hum-able and sing-a-long choruses to all of us. This band will grow from being known as John 5’s band to forge their own identity. A lot of crap is out there now but so few bands can rise through it, Loser will.
