Instruction: God Doesn’t Care
Reviewed by: Avery Salamon

The first thing I have to say is ARGH!!! I just saw this bands video on Headbangers Ball if its any indication that might mean Smile Empty Soul and Three Days Grace will be on it next week. I hope not, although they are good hard rock bands these bands in no way shape or form represent anything heavy metal except maybe what they grew up listening to. Now that I’ve said that let me tell you who I’m referring too, the new band Instruction. Instruction’s new CD “God Doesn’t Care” isn’t anything new in anyway but in its repetitiveness of the old tried and true formula good.

Nothing on this CD truly stands out. The single “Breakdown” is the heavy verse; sing along type chorus, which is done well. This song is not as good as the track “Feed the Culture” which is a great acoustic track but nonetheless the best track on the whole CD. The rest of the CD didn’t really get me too excited.

Although nothing special, fans of Fuel, Our Lady Peace and Greenwheel will like this CD for sure. After watching it on the Ball it didn’t fit and maybe they can learn that this band isn’t that heavy and isn’t strong enough to be up with the likes of Megadeth, Lamb of God, etc… This CD is a 2.5/5.
