Flyleaf: Self Titled
Reviewed by: Avery Salamon

I am going to start this review by quoting myself from my Flyleaf e.p. review. “The EP does everything well which leads me to believe the band has something big in them coming.” Well they did deliver and the goods are all here from start to finish. They show off all their versatility clearly on this record.

The opening track for the CD “I’m So Sick” lets us know how Lacey can rip our heads off with a growl or soothe us with her singing. The guitars rip and roar as the drums crash and rumble. The whole CD takes on a band vs. the world attitude.

Flyleaf seem like they want to carve their own niche showing off their tendency to kick are ass like in the track “Fully Alive” or slow it down a bit in many of their slower songs such as “All Around Me” and “So I Thought”.

The talent here can take this band where they choose with enough songs to play shows with Arch Enemy and Otep to stealing crowds on a Fuel tour. They can go into any of those arenas and take fans.

Flyleaf is out with Staind right now; If their ever was a reason to go early to a show this is it. By the time it's over YOU WILL BE BUYING something from them!!!! Flyleaf paint with such a broad brush that they can appeal to all fans from all over.

Flyleaf has lived up to what I had hoped - that’s all I can really say. They will probably tear it up live and then I'll be hooked. Yeah, this writer will definitely by their merch.
