This is a great band that is here to stay. What do I mean you may be saying, well, Mastadon has paved the way for a thick sludge metal sound that doesnt require singles. Figure of Merit prove that Mastadon aren't the only band that can do this. They have written a full album that kicks your ass and mine from begining to end. The albums name is Vatic and whether you choose to listen to a song seperately or as a whole you will see this is the stuff of metal to come. Vatic will most likely be in the top 25 of every metal fan who gets their hands on it.
