Devildriver has returned to show you this is not a fluke; this isn’t some BS band. This is for real; this band is here to do some damage. The name of the new record is “The Fury of Our Maker’s Hand” and well Dez and company show their fury and rage to all of us. This is a band that can make a lasting impact on metal if they keep growing like they did from the first record to this one.

We will begin with the fact that the band sounds like a total unit now. That could only have come from the months and months of touring for the previous record. They seem to have grown as musicians together as well. I don’t know how to put it but they sound tight as all HELL right now.

The album also has many guitar solos and intros to a lot of the songs. This was a nice new thing to hear from this band. After touring with so many different artists from every spectrum of metal they seem to have taken the best of each and have thrown it in.

Many of you probably have heard the new single “Hold Back the Day” and it isn’t even the best song on the CD. I’m serious when I say there isn’t one track that you want to skip on this record whether is “Ripped Apart” all the way to “Bear Witness Unto”.

It's all here the heavy and fast, the slow and plodding, and all the screaming you can handle. Devildriver is back with a vengeance and if this tear continues I cant wait to hear another album from them.
