The new album by Comeback Kid is precise and to the point. “Wake the Dead” is an album that doesn’t need a repeated listen to grow on you. This record hits you dead on from its first listen until you can’t get all the songs out of your head.

The album kicks off with “False Idols Fall” which is a dead on scream/sing along that draws you right in. The second track “my other side” continues to string you in even further to album. “Wake The Dead” the title track off the album with the screams of “Don’t Lose Hope” draws you in completely for what will be a great listen.

The album is politically tinged and keeps positive messages throughout. “ Bright Lights Keep Shining” has one of the great lines of the record “we’ll have are way”. The CD concludes with “final Goodbye” which has a menacing breakdown.

This CD should be picked up by all screamo/hardcore/metalcore kids. Everyone who hears this CD will love it and most will have it on repeat immediately. Politically tinged with songs that don’t drag on for too long “Wake The Dead” by Comeback Kid is a great CD.
