Children of Bodom are back and better as usual. This band continues to progress with no limits in sight. The musicianship continues to grow and further this bands sound in all directions. Now the only real question is has the mainstream come to them finally or is it the other way around.

Truthfully it’s that the mainstream came to them at least here in the States. COB has been plowing through the rest of the world for years now finally beginning to tour the US now. The new CD shows it to us all.

Are You Dead Yet? is a perfect example of how good this band is. Whether it be Alexei’s wicked vocals or guitar solos, Warmens wicked keyboards or any other sound riff or noise here they nail it. The first single “In Your Face” is wicked and they choose to push their laughter envelope with covers of Poison and Britney Spears.

COB is back with a vengeance on their first US headlining run and tearing up metal heads everywhere with their sound. Children of Bodom are here to stay so let’s keep bringing them back to our side of the river.
