The new release by 3 Inches of Blood’s CD "Advance and Vanquish" rules; they have everything anyone could want to hear from deep growls to Halford highs. They also combine amazing riffage with great bass and drums. Just go buy it, Ill probably say that a dozen times again and again.
The lead singer in this band has amazing range with his vocals. If you don’t believe me listen to “Deadly Sinner” (which also appears on the headbangers ball vol. 2 soundtrack) shows it well. There are other songs that stand out too, some of them are “Wykydtron” and “Destroy the Arcs”. I know I only wrote 3 songs but goddamn this album is that damn good.
This album is also very reminiscent of the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal). The vocals are amazing on this record. The dueling guitars are sweet and they rip off some sick solos too; great bass as well.
This album is a must buy so when it appears in your local record store in October pick it up just but it. I don’t rate albums but this is a 9/10.
