Interviewed by Steffen Vitale

Steffen: I saw you guys on tour last year with Arch Enemy and All That Remains. Did you have fun on that tour?
Mnemic: That was a hard tour…a long tour. We had fun on stage. We always have fun on stage.

Steffen: You tour all over the place. What are some of the places you’ve been to that stand out the most?
Mnemic: Japan. That’s a place I’d like to return to. Those are the best venues.

Steffen: What kinds of venues do you typically like playing?
Mnemic: I like them all. As long as it’s not too hot because then you get dehydrated. Small clubs are cool because you’re really reaching people…you can touch them and the energy is always good.

Steffen: Do you have any typical preparations for your shows?
Mnemic: We just drink a couple of beers.

Steffen: Any specific kind of drink that you prefer?
Mnemic: I like White Russians…it’s the most mellow drink in the world. Some good red wine too.

Steffen: What do you think about heavy metal now versus heavy metal a decade ago?
Mnemic: I think there are way too many shitty bands. Basically, the scene is so over populated.

Steffen: Sorry this has to be so brief, but thanks for the quick interview.
Mnemic: Thanks.
